The “Stone Forest” of Goris

The “Stone Forest” is a unique natural attraction, which, apparently, is of volcanic origin. This natural wonder located on the slopes of the mountain is a combination of narrow cliffs with sharp peaks, stone pillars and unusual and strange-looking stones. The area truly resembles a fairy-tale “forest” with petrified “trees”.
