Khndzoresk Caves

The unique “cave city” of Khndzoresk is located about 8 km from Goris. Khndzoresk is famous for its cave dwellings, where people lived from ancient times until the 1950s. Some of the caves are of completely natural origin, but their interior decoration was later expanded by local residents.
