Meghri Berd Castles

Armenian architectural monument. Located in the north-eastern part of the city of Meghri, facing the eastern mountain range. Meghri Fortress was first mentioned in 1083. It was completely rebuilt in the 18th century. On the peaks of the mountain range, six fortified towers are built of rough and unprocessed granite stones: two rectangular and four round.
